I'm trying to map an OO structure in my domain to a
flat VO structure
used by
the client. One issue I am having is the use of
Interfaces in my domain
model.
For instance I have this mapping structure:

Field
A: do.objInterface.stringAttribute
Field
B: vo.stringAttribute

Since I'm mapping an attribute of an interface in my
source class, I
don't see
a way to provide a hint as to what concrete class the
objInterface will
be at
runtime. I'd have no problem if I were mapping it this
way:

Field
A: do.objInterface
Field
B: vo.obj

because then I could put a hint on Field A. But since
I'm mapping a
specific
attribute in the interface, rather then the entire
class, I see no way
to provide
the hint. Hopefully there is something that I'm
missing logically.

This has been fixed in 1.5.8.1 and checked into CVS. I have
    attached the patched file.
