[Doxygen-users] Creating an output generator

I would like to create a new output generator, derived from outputgen. The
derived part is simple enough, but I do not know what other changes are
needed to wire the new output generator into doxygen. For example, how do
you make the new output generator configurable through doxyfile? I do not
need detailed instructions, but an outline of the classes that need
modifying and a brief description of how they need to be modified would be
helpful and much appreciated. If this information has already been assembled
somewhere, just point me to it. Otherwise, could someone help me out?
