[Doxygen-users] has anybody seen latex problems like this?

when I try to run  make on latex documentation
the LaTeX is screaming :

! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [pool size=71984].

I'm using doxygen 1.2.8.1 on OS X v10.1 (G4 PPC).
LaTeX is teTeX (1.3.7?).

the error shows during  first run while processing the 752nd page of the 
refman.tex  (it is in some included file).

Before that there are only some underfull/overfull  errors and few 
reference
  undefined warnings.
I know that those don't have any influence.
