[Doxygen-users] \refitem keyword

Hi all,

Can anybody enlighten me as to what the \refitem keyword officially
does? Can't find a description for it in the doc, though the source for
the doc (commands.doc, config.doc) use it extensively.

Also, whilst playing around with config.doc, I've noticed that
  \refitem FOO FOO
produces an empty list item. Bug?
