[Doxygen-develop] Display of base classes in class hierarchy

Hello,

I am using Doxygen to document a java project.
Now I look for a possibility to show the JDK base classes of my own classes
in the class hierarchie (textual and graphical display).
Is it currently only possible to show that classes, that Doxygen uses as
input files?
To integrate all the JDK source code is not really an alternative.
I tried this - it took one whole day to process all the code and gave me
more than 1 GB of output files!

If there is currently no option to achieve what I am hinting for, I would
like to try to extend Doxygen myself. May be some one can point me where to
look in the source code?
