[Doxygen-develop] Wish: Parsing of Numbered Lists

Hi,

I often use numbered lists of the form
    1. Do this.
    2. Do that.
    3. Continue at 2.
in my documentation, for example for describing algorithms. Now, it would be 
nice if Doxygen could parse these lists and generate corresponding HTML 
code. Could this be implemented?

BTW, I know about -# but using it makes the comments hard to read when not 
using Doxygen (especially comments like "Continue at 2." are problematic).
