[Doxygen-users] texify: makeindex failed for some reason.

Greetings,

I get the message "texify: makeindex failed for some reason." in TeXworks when I run the Doxygens TeX output.
The resulting PDF does not contain any links or index, due to the fact there is no rerun of pdfLaTex after the error message.

The project passes Doxygen without errors or warnings.

The log-file "refman.ilg" reports a lot of  input errors in "refman.idx" and ends in the middle of the sentence

Examining the file "refman.idx" I recognized some lines contain more than 4000 chars.

Doxygen version 1.8.8
MikTeX 2.9 (updated and FNDB refreshed)


Using Doxygen version 1.8.6 everything works fine and there are only a few lines in refman.idx that exceeds 1024 characters.

Anybody else who observed this behaviour?
