[Doxygen-users] unknown option HIDE_COMPOUND_REFERENCE on windows

Hi!

i tried to migrate to 1.8.8 cause of the PLANTUML support
After downloading the windows binary and update of my dox file with doxygen -s -u
i tried to generate the doc

I get the ERROR "Requested unknown option HIDE_COMPOUND_REFERENCE" which i cannot find in docu.
Even adding to to the dox file does not help?

The same code worked with 1.8.8 on linux (self compiled)

Is the build broken or am i doing something completely wrong?
