[Doxygen-develop] Is possible to Doxygen extract external symbols?

Hi people,

I'm starting an addon based on doxyapp example to extract symbols and funcion
call of an project and i need extract use of external symbols too, (i.e. use of
printf or functions provided by external libs).

Its possible?
