This probably means what it says. I do not have that version of teTeX. In my case (TeX Live 5), the pool size can be adjusted via modification of the text file "TeX/Texmf-var/web2c/texmf.cnf". If you find the file, look for pool_size = nnnn or more specific info for your application -- like pool_size.cslatex = nnnn. Increase the nnnn to higher value than stated in the error message. After playing with xsl/fop, I think that maybe the DTD structure might be an area for experimentation. For example, I am finding that the numbering control in XSLT (<xsl:number>) does not go outside a sequence of sibling nodes. I suppose some cool XSL hacker could do it. It's not like LaTeX where you can tap your own custom counter when you want the next number value in a sequence. What I mean is that the numbering works well for something like chap sec subsec subsec sec subsec chap sec subsec Whereas the doxygen DTD (at a highlevel) looks like compounddef compoundname sectiondef memberdef (the dtd and the output differ on this) memberdef memberdef sectiondef memberdef detaileddescriptio I don't have any suggestions yet. I am just now realizing the impact of DTD design on the ease of processing. hunter PS Should this go to doxygen-develop? Or to a smaller group than doxygen-users? |

I have been unable to connect to either of the URL's mentioned: http://c_...@c-.../html/index.html http://c-a-v.chat.ru/html/index.html Given the positive comments from others, I'd like to try it out. I suspect others are in the same boat. Is there anyone who has gotten it who could mirror it someplace? TIA, Don |

Can some thing be added to the TODO list? I would like to see there "Shortening of LaTeX references." The LaTeX is getting out of the pool (the reference / command pool) too soon. Can there be a counter of references? To be able troubleshoot the things around references. 1) how many places are referenced -total. 2) how many times is the referenced place used. Thanks Honza |

when I try to run make on latex documentation the LaTeX is screaming : ! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [pool size=71984]. I'm using doxygen 1.2.8.1 on OS X v10.1 (G4 PPC). LaTeX is teTeX (1.3.7?). the error shows during first run while processing the 752nd page of the refman.tex (it is in some included file). Before that there are only some underfull/overfull errors and few reference undefined warnings. I know that those don't have any influence. Thanks for any help. Honza |

Hi there! Maybe I'm just too blind, but can you please tell me how to insert a custom page into the 'Related pages' section (html generated docs)? If this should not be the correct way to plug-in handmade html docs, where do I have to put them else? cheers, Stephan |

The cells are grayed for (indeed) undocumented members as well as overloaded functions. I would suggest to insert a short text in italics, e.g. (undocumented) or (overloaded). Additionally, I noticed that the documentation of enums are always bolds. Regards, Thomas |

I have tried it, and it looks very nice! Great work. But it took some time, until I got the expected result. I am using customized files for header.html, footer.html and = cascading style sheets. I even tried to regenerate them w/ doxygen -w html ..., but I thinks you didn't updated them ;-) . Nevermind, after I deleted the approriate tags in the configuration file doxygen produced the documentation in this nice MSDN style. BTW, there seems to be a bug. You have implemented these tables with documented members. For some items, the description cell (the second colum) is grayed with no text in it, although these items are documented. However, I like the MSDN look and hope, your patch will be integrated in the 'standard' doxygen. = Once again: great work! OK, so it hit me that another way to process the xml output would be to map doxygen xml to docbook xml (via XSL). Plus it turns out that there are many programming specific items in the docbook dtd. http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/documentation/reference/html/ch02.html section 2.5.7.6 "Programming languages and Constructs" I am not sure which direction I will start with. Just wanted to mention this to see if anyone had experience or interest. hunter |

Hi Sorry if this topic has already been discussed, but the "info" word is so common that I would have no luck by searching in the Mailing lists (furthermore, the search engine at GeoCrawler is dead). What is the best way to create a set of "info" files from Doxygen output ? - Latex to 'info' (texinfo) ? - 'man' to 'info' (man2info) ? Basically I would like to be able to read my doc within Emacs. Thank you |

Hi, Changed in this week's release: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- + CHG: The list of all members of a class now shows for each member, the class in which the member is defined. + ADD: Included updates for translations to Chinese (thanks to Charlie Liu) Slovene (thanks to Matjaz Ostroversnik) and Russian (thanks to Alexandr Chelpanov). + ADD: Include update for translator.pl + BUG: References to groups defined in tag files did not work. + BUG: documentation for classes inside namespaces was generated multiple times. + BUG: Running doxytag on qt-3.0.0 resulted in a tag file containing non-breakable spaces. + BUG: The \package statement did not work correctly for packages whose name contained a dot. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoy, Dimitri |

RE: DTDs versus schemas I find writing schemas rather tedious because of their verboseness, although as was previously pointed out they are more powerful than DTDs. Since I know DTD syntax, which is arcane but nicely succinct, I write a DTD first that encompasses the basic element structure I want and use a tool to convert the DTD to an XML schema. Then I embellish the schema. One tool for converting between DTDs and schemas is called XML Authority, although no doubt there are others. Let me add a similar question. For various overloaded variants of methods, the class summary shows them in the order that they appear in the source. But the expanded text shows them in another order. I don't see what determines this order. I would like it to be the source order in both places. Hallo Users. I've the following problem. All list generated by Doxygen are sorted aphabetical. List of the packages, class hierachy, compound list. Also the detail view of the classes are sorted alphabetical. Only the overview of the methodes and attribute of an class in unsorted. I mean the list of the public methodes, static public methodes, static public attributes and so on. And I can't find out why it doesn't work. Is it a bug, a feature? Can i find some property to sort this choice or are there any trick. TIA JD __________________________________________________________________ Es ist soweit: das Nokia Game beginnt. Hi, I would like to suggest to move the collaboration diagram to a seperate page and offer a link from the class refrence page(like the graphical class hierarchy diagram from the class hierarchy page). It's good to have the collaboration diagram but IMHO it sucks at its current location. If one wants only to look up some member function the diagram is unnecessarily loaded and must scrolled by every time (and those diagrams sometimes tend to get big). If there are opinions against this suggestion maybe another config option (YACO ;-) would be a solution... (like INLINE_SOURCES of the source browser feature). Comments? Regards, Germar |

Though I haven't had time lately, I've been planning on writing another patch to get more info generated in the XML, and also to provide a config option for generating multiple XML files, just like with HTML files. I'll send it when I get a chance to finish it. Christian -- Christian Hammond <> The GNUpdate Project ch...@po... <> http://www.gnupdate.org/ Save the whales. Feed the hungry. Free the mallocs. |
