For what it's worth I see the same behavior.
To be a little more specific:
As I mouse over the custom (Download) tab, it gets changes color from a
light blue to a little darker blue.  When I click on the tab, the Main
Page tab turns dark blue, and the Download tab returns to its original
light blue.

If I click on any of the other tabs, they turn dark blue and stay dark
blue.  In addition, this section shows up twice in the index on the left
hand side.  [It only occurs once in the source].

I did some experiments.  When I switched the URL @ref from a @section to
an @page, then the behavior changed slightly.  Now instead of making
"Main Page" dark blue, it now makes "Related Pages" dark blue.

Here's the line from my DoxygenLayout.xml.  This is the only line I
changed from the output of doxygen -l.

    <tab type="user" visible="yes" title="Download" url="@ref download"/>

Here's the complete contents of the Download.c file that contains the
"download" definition:

If you came here to download the software, then click on the <a
href="http://assimilationsystems.com/download/">download</a> link

[Doxygen-users] Clickable icon in header line

I see that the Doxygen site has clickable icons in the header bar (top
portion of the page) pointing to twitter, sourcforge, freshmeat, and
"donate here" via paypal.

I'd like to make a download link and put it in that otherwise unused space.

How do I do that?

[Doxygen-users] .NET and C# XML command to make private

We have XML documentation in our existing C# files.  I don’t see a way of
hiding functions from the documents (like using: /** @private */ in java,
C, C++)

       /// <value>A string representing the name or IP address of the

I thought this might help, but it says Doxygen ignores it.

The solution is to remove the \namespace command (but keeping the \brief 
and the other documentation). In this case doxygen creates the namespace 
"Param" correctly and without an error.

Actually, it is: "library Param" a few lines later defines it...
And as I have written before. It worked with older versions of doxygen 
(or at least, doxygen did not give me an error message)
Interfaces are defined in the included file (with the \interface 
directive), but I commented it out here, because it was not necessary 
for the example.

Andreas,

The problem is the "\namespace Param" here a new namespace is defined and
this is not known in IDL. Wouldn't it be better to use "\interface Param"
(manual paragraph 4.1.1.3 Documentation at other places), It is just a
guess as I don't "speak" IDL.
I'll have a look if I can extend the error message.

I have the following error in my doxygen log:

error: Internal inconsistency: namespace in IDL not module, library or 
constant group

Unfortunately it does not tell me, in which file this inconsistency occurs.

How do I find out which file or namespace is meant?

System:
Windows 7 Professional
doxygen 1.8.9.1

Johannes,

Small addition to the the email of Stephan, when the \file is in the same
file as it what it is documenting it is not required to specify the file
name. From the documentation:
Indicates that a comment block contains documentation for a source or
header file with name <name>. The file name may include (part of) the path
if the file-name alone is not unique. If the file name is omitted (i.e. the
line after \file is left blank) then the documentation block that contains
the \file command will belong to the file it is located in.

Now it is nearly ten years later, but if it has all the features you need.

Have you already tried enclosing the file name in quotes?

@file "CCP V 2.0.h"

I would still upgrade to the latest release and see if the issue is 
gone, might be the case that you see some new things you like to use too.

I did a very small test with version 1.8.9.1 and I didn't see a problem.
Can you post a minimal example (source plus used Doxyfile)?

Hi, all doxygen-users.

I've found "->{}" object property breaks callgraph building.

Example code and doxygen config attached.
Try to remove {} brackets and you'll see callgraph will appear after
doxygen re-run.

Doxygen version: doxygen-1.8.8-1.fc21.rpm

Is there some way to solve it?

i have a question about file names.

Is it possible to have spaces characters in my filenames?

For example:

One file is called CCP V 3.1.c, so if i create the documentation the link to
the file doesn't work. If i call the file CCP_V_3.1.c it works.

Can i do something in the configuration that it also works with space
characters in the file name?

Apparently the answer is that it's not possible to turn off this errant '@'
behavior.  The choices are to:
1) add backslash in the source code (\@) where needed (not well defined)
2) add backslash in the input filter in particular places, or 
3) post-process the HTML output to correct the mistakes

[Doxygen-users] Suppressing @author in detaileddescription

Is there any method to suppress a particular section indicator from the
detaileddescription?

I created a DoxygenLayout.xml



The only customization I see is changing the title with:

<detaileddescription title=""/>



    <authorsection visible="no"/>      setting this to no had no effect.



The only thing that works is commenting them out:

/**

* <!-- @author Billy Bob -->

*/



I would like for the @author sections not to be generated and don’t
particularly wish to edit every file.

Hello,

How can I align msc images?

To align normal images I use a project css file with:
.image
{
   text-align: left;
}

The HTML code of a image looks something like:
<div class="image">
<img src="image.jpg" alt="image.jpg">
</div>

In doxygen my msc:
 \msc
 arcgradient = 8;
 a [label="Client"],b [label="server"];
 a=>b [label="COMMAND"];
 \endmsc

Compared to an msc image:
<div align="center">
<img src="msc_inline_mscgraph_1.png" alt="msc_inline_mscgraph_1"
usemap="#msc_inline_mscgraph_1.map" border="0">
<map name="msc_inline_mscgraph_1.map" id="msc_inline_mscgraph_1.map"></map>
</div>

There is no div class for the msc images. So how to align them to the left
for example?
