Hello,
I have not a cvs repository at home or work but subversion.
A small script will help to get version numbers.
#!/bin/bash
svn stat -v $1 | sed -n 's/^[ A-Z?\*|!]\{1,15\}/r/;s/ \{1,15\}/\/r/;s/ .*//=
p'
This script return the file version in the form r123/r121. The first number=
is=20
the working-revision of the file. The second show the revision in which the=
=20
file last changed.
=46or example store the script as get_svn_version.sh and add it to paramete=
r=20
=46ILE_VERSION_INFO:
=46ILE_VERSION_INFO =3D get_svn_version.sh=20
The script is not perfect but shows the way.
Cu,
Maik
