[Doxygen-develop] out of memory - doxytag 1.3.3 / Windows XP

      Hello,

I'm testing/playing with doxygen 1.3.3 / Windows  XP  on a project of
"significant" size:
 
Running doxytag on a Windows XP system with 2G of phys memory (1.7G
available) on a *Large* bunch of HTML files generated by doxygen gives an
"out of memory" error only after parsing a few files.
 
Can this be avoided?
 
I'd like to use the search engine (very important for this source - too
difficult to navigage large codebase without it) and have spent 2 days
running doxygen to create the HTML, .dot, .latex, etc.
 
Thank you for ideas/help!    BTW I can change source... can I fix this?
Can doxytag make use of VM or memory beyond the DOS limit?

Not at the moment, but I'm in the process of redesigning the search engine.
The indexing should then require much less memory, and the search engine 
should be easier to configure.
