[Doxygen-develop] "libgd was not built with FreeType font support"

When running Doxygen, the following (error?) messages is repeated many
time:

libgd was not built with FreeType font support
 : doxfont in .


Now, libgd.so (1.8.3) certainly links with libttf.so.2, so what does
this mean?  What is producing this message, and how can I either enable
TTF support, or get rid of this message?

This is a graphviz issue. Please look at the documentation of that package.
