DocBook Version Question

    Hi,

I've worked with Doxygen for years. A client of mine wants to generate DocBook output. He discovered that version 1.8.x has DocBook output support. When we enabled the output the results don't look familiar to him and he is very conversant with output.

I noted that the DocBook patch was contributed by Intel and incorporated into the core product. Is the output format maintained? And, what version of DocBook is emitted?

    Thank you,

    Carey

This is late but you can see that in the head of the output.
    It is docbook version 5.0

    <section xmlns="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook" version="5.0"
    xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xml:id="_group___configuration">

Your customer should be able to use it, just make sure to disable the SHOW_USED_FILES option. Otherwise you will get invalid XML
