GVC - 2021-04-16

Hi,

Just want to know if there are (future?) plans to also support ProtoBuf syntax in Doxygen.

I know there are a few workarounds like this one, but when I see that the last update is 5 years ago, I'm wondering if it is wise to step into that adventure.
Notice that I did try it out and it "kind of" works, but it doesn't have all the whistles and bells that a built-in language has. And especially the artificial conversion so that it's handled as a .cpp file makes me hesitating to go further into that direction...

Much better would be if it's supported out of the box from within the tool itself...

I know it's easy for me to say, but I think many people will be interested in such extension, especially since ProtoBuf is gaining interest at a fast increasing speed...
