    hello!!

    sorry for my english.

I have installed downloaddaemon (last version) and work with rapidshare. For
me is important megaupload but always this error:

    "file not found in server"

i have downloaddaemon in debian lenny with apache2 without interface gui.

    I connect with web interface.

i have edited downloaddemon.conf and i have added the path to gocr:

    /usr/bin/gocr

    i have installed netpbm.

Strangly rapidshare work fine but i use megaupload and I don't know what is
    the error.

    thanks very much.

I guess by latest version you mean 1.0.1? If so: The megaupload.com page
layout changed some time back so the plugin that comes with 1.0.1 does not
work any more. You should compile a recent nightly-version instead of 1.0.1 or
wait for the next version (will be released in the middle of january).

    yes, it's 1.0.1.

    two questions:

    1.0.rc2 work with megaupload?

    how do I uninstall downloaddaemon?

i try make uninstall in the folder but it don't work. In makefile i don't
    see how uninstall.

1: 1.0rc2 is older than 1.0.1. You can get the nightly-versions here:

    https://downloaddaemon.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/downloaddaemon/tags/

You don't need to uninstall the old installation. Just install the nightly and
the old version will be overwritten. If you want to uninstall anyway, you can
do so manually with this command:

    sudo rm -r /usr/local/bin/DownloadDaemon /usr/share/downloaddaemon
    /etc/downloaddaemon /etc/init.d/downloadd

Right now there is not automated way to uninstall DD.
