I just downloaded 1.6.6b1 for my macbook pro and have found that the "swap f-key behavior" is no longer on my list of options. I tried uninstalling (following the uninstall instructions on this website), restarting, and then installing an older version which might have this option, but my computer will not let me install an older version, claiming that a newer version is already installed on my computer (even though it is gone from my system prefs). f-keys are important for me to efficiently use flash. Any suggestions??

okay so i'm kind of an idiot. Apparently leopard has the "use all f-keys as standard function" as a standard preference choice for keyboard now. Yay for mac! :)

I'd recommend following the instructions on this page:
http://doublecommand.sourceforge.net/help.html
to remove doublecommand completely. Once you've completely removed it and rebooted, reinstall it.
Let me know how it goes and if you still experience problems.
