I just installed the new version of DoubleCommand (I was having the usb load and unload panics), and now DoubleCommand has no effect.  I ran it in terminal, and it says it is running and installed.  The prefs pane works fine and claims to be making changes.  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times as well as rebooting a million times.  No effect.  I have a cheap Key Tronic external keyboard here at work, but it is having no effect on my Mac  Book Pro keyboard either.  Running 10.5 with all the updates.

When uninstalling it seems there must be something other then just the 2 locations.  Where are the prefs stored (because it remembered my settings one time even though I uninstalled)?

At least it doesn't crash anymore, but I'd take the panics back to have my command key in the right place.   Thanks!

This new version doesn't do anything either, the last version I tried beta1 crashed at reboot...

How do I know it is loaded, or how do I load it ?

I can change the settings under System Preferences....
