    Hi everybody,

Eventually, after starting the system, Doublecommand stops running. When I go to the Preferences panel and select the Doublecommand Prefs, the following warning message appears:

DoubleCommand seems not to be running at the moment.
You can save prefs but can't activate settings.
    Maybe you need to reinstall...

Effectively, after reinstalling everything is OK again. However, this continues to happen from time to time. Which could be the cause? Right now I'm using 1.6.6b1 in a Macbook Pro with Leopard, but previously I have experienced the same behavior while running 1.6.4 in the same computer with Tiger. I'm wondering if maybe the cause could be an incompatibility with any other software loading at startup.

Thanks in advance and congratulations for this fantastic software, it's really useful!

I had this problem.  Michael created a new version of /Library/StartupItems/DoubleCommand and it's in subversion... download it, replace your existing /Library/StartupItems/DoubleCommand file with it, and the problem should be fixed.

      Hope this helps.
