Beginning with the November 2007 MacBooks, Apple has replaced the Enter key to the left of the arrow keys with a second Option/Alt key.

Would it be possible for you to:

    a) Allow remapping of that key to Enter, as in the original MacBooks?
    b) Allow it to be remapped to Fn, which would be much more useful than Option?

    Thanks in advance

      Hi,

I would like for this to be possible too.

I've been using that formerly-known-as-enter Alt/Option key as Control and it hurts to have it gone.

      Many thanks in advance.

I was used to using it as forward delete.  My friend was using my laptop forever, and when he bought one of the newer ones (the macbooks removed that key a long time ago) we couldn't find anything else that worked.

      Thanks.

Hear hear.  I just ordered a new MacBook Pro and will surely miss the bottom-row Enter key.

I would love it if doublecommand added support for the new macbook pro's

I need my forward delete back :-(

I put together my own build of DoubleCommand for this very reason, except I wanted right option to forward delete on my external wireless keyboard.

Anyway, it should work just fine:
