Caps lock breaks "shift backspace as fwd del"

I've got "shift-backspace as forward delete" turned on; it stops working while caps lock is enabled and does a regular backspace instead. Hardly a huge deal, but it's frustrating when I've hit caps lock by accident and can't figure out why I can't forward-delete. :) Anyone else getting this, or is it just me?
