DoubleCommand doesn't appear to do anything..

Hey guys..  I'm new to Mac's so I will admit this is likely me being a bone head, but I have doublecommand installed, and have selected the pc home and end select keys check box.

I have the active, user, and system preferences all set to use it -- But it doesn't appear to work.

In fact none of the options seem to do anything.. Am I doing something wrong?

I have a brand new macmini using 10.5.2 and am typically either a windows or ubuntu user, who is used to the way the PC keyboard works.  Love the mac, hate the keyboard layout..heh Would love to get the PC keyboard stuff to work..

See my recent thread on this forum.  The new release doesn't work (at least for some of us).  You can install the b1 version which works for me, but I get some panics and instability when suspending and resuming.  Anyway, I'm sure it is being worked on.  Have fun, and welcome to the Mac.  I am a long time Mac user who was forced to use XP at work for 10 years, but at my new job they don't care.  I am now on a MacBook Pro and very happy.  Nice to have this software though so I can make PC keyboards have the meta key in the right place...  

At first I started trying to make my Mac fit my PC keyboard habits, but now I have switched to making my PC keyboard work like a Mac one.   Now my left thumb is always stuck under my palm like a real full time Mac user ;-).   It really is better to have your favorite modifier key under your thumb then under your left pinkey finger.  Takes a bit of getting used to...

Well.. I'm using the latest version and still it doesn't work.

I want the home and end keys to work as they do on my PC.. I have active, user and system settings all to use PC style Home and ENd keys and nothing..

I uninstalled the old version per your instructions, and installed the new one.  It seems like it should work.

Nothing.

Thoughts?
