I am completely new to the whole Mac platform. I just bought a new Microsoft® Natural® Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 and it said it is Mac 10x compatible. So far it has been but there is no "Eject" key. I have already tried using the option key and "e" but that doesn't work.
What are my other options? I'm completely lost now.

The regular "eject key" is F12 if your keyboard does not feature an apple-specific eject key.
Click on the Finder to make it the current application then hold down F12 until the disc gets ejected. It becomes tougher on Macs with multiple drives, if I remember correctly you can eject the second tray using option(alt)+F12, or something similar.
Of course once a disc has been loaded and appears in the Finder you can eject it easily by clicking on the eject arrow next to its icon, or dragging the icon to the trash.
Note: There are other obscure methods, such as holding down the mouse button while restarting your mac, and more. Search for "eject" on http://www.apple.com/support/ if you want all the details.
