DoubleCommand does not support this right now, and until I or someone has the time to invest in expanding the number of features it can support, we can't add a lot of little used features like this one.
However, if you know how to write C code, it's not very hard to add a small extra section in the code just for yourself, and provide the feature you are after in your own build.
On the other hand, you could consider using fn+delete, or use the DoubleCommand shift+delete features instead, if they work for you.

I m desperately trying to remap the Apostrophe key to "Forward Delete" on my shiny new Macbook.
So far I did not find a way to do this. :-(
I could not find an option in the tool DoubleCommand.
