#26 Active preferences don't work in Mac OS X 10.7

Since installing Mac OS X 10.7 (11A511), the DoubleCommand prefs panel shows my keyboard preferences being active, but they don't work. Specifically, I have "Shift-delete acts as Forward Delete", but performing that key sequence doesn't do a forward delete. Selecting other options, and activating them, is similarly not working (chosen key mapping is not honored or working). There is no indication that the system is not installed properly.

Mac OS X 10.7 11A511 upgrade from Mac OS X 10.6.8
MacBook Pro 3.06 GHz
8GB RAM
Disk permissions repaired
Re-installed and then rebooted
