... has been released now, you will find it along with the according Windows release in the package "dotplot rcp".
DotPlot is now available in two releases:
- the conventional plugin to work with an existing Eclipse installation
- as RCP (Rich Client Platform) release without the need for an Eclipse installation. You only need a JDK to run it. (currently, it is ONLY available for the Windows platform, but an according release for Linux will be available soon!)
You will find two new packages. One containing a diploma thesis about the use of grid computing and the Information Mural algorithm in our plugin. The other package holds two posters for the masters program started in october, explaining the complete project, class structure and the process of a plot along a timeline.
DotPlot is an Eclipse plug-in to graphically compare word sequences of any type of text. Matches will be plotted as dots on a graph. Similarities in thousands of lines of text or code will result in typical textures and diagonals in the plot.
Version 2.1.0 new features:
- grid computing
- information mural algorithm
- Eclipse 3.x compatibility
