	This work is now completed, as a side effect there have been some changes made to the IO subsystems:</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		Escape character handling is now much stricter, previously invalid escape sequences were silently ignored whereas they now generate parser errors</li>
	<li>
		Escaping in writer output has been much improved, escaping should be more reliable and ensure more consistent round tripping of data</li>
	<li>
		Optional IRI validation (disabled by default) is available for the Turtle parser, this functionality may be extended to other parsers in the future</li>
