The error is actually handled by that code but VS reports it as unhanded, you will get about 7 of these because we use multiple copies of the data structure for our triple indices. So if you click Resume enough times the code will continue without issue. If you use the latest release (0.9.0) which incorporates the PDBs for our library and the 3rd party library this error goes away unless you have Break on Thrown Exceptions set in the debugger Hope this helps, Rob [1] http://dotnetrdf.org/tracker/Issues/IssueDetail.aspx?id=292 >>> > What's my oversight ? > > Thanks, > > Steve > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Free Next-Gen Firewall Hardware Offer Buy your Sophos next-gen firewall before > the end March 2013 and get the hardware for free! Hi Koos The LinqToRdf port was an experiment I did 2.5 years ago and decided that I didn't have the bandwidth to pursue it properly, partly because I had too many other things on the project to work and partly because of various work and personal commitments. My bandwidth to work on dotNetRDF since has unfortunately only reduced not increased and my primary focuses these days are bug fixes, stability/performance enhancements and query engine enhancements. There are a couple of other projects by external people that have come along since that aim to offer similar things. BrightstarDB [1] is a commercial product built as a EF style layer over a custom triple store and RomanticWeb [2] which is an open source project built by one of our newer developers (Tom Pluskiewicz). Personally I don't have any time to work on this anytime in the near future so you would likely be better off talking to one of the people/projects I've highlighted here to see if they can fulfill your needs and whether you can contribute towards those projects if necessary. Hi Jan We don't have this functionality directly in dotNetRDF itself, one of our developers Tom is currently working on a R2RML implementation based on top of dotNetRDF. I have stepped through the code in debug mode. dotNetRdf seems to handle everything properly and then it sends the literal to the Virtuoso ADO.NET provider. On the virtuoso triple store however, if I have created the literal specifying the XmlSpecsHelper.XmlSchemaDataTypeDateTime data type, a +01.00 is added after the literal value. When in daylight saving, the value read back is wrong by an hour when parsed in .NET. I think that, for my time zone for example, the provider (or virtuoso itself?) should be suffixing the value with +2.00. Maybe there's nothing that can be done about it in dotNetRdf itself. Also, for me it's not such a big problem because I am now saving everything in UTC anyway. But in case a solution can be found, I hope that this unit test will help. We are pleased to announce the release of dotNetRDF 0.9.0 RC 4 available now from all the usual locations: Project Website - http://www.dotnetrdf.org/content.asp?pageID=Download%20dotNetRDF SoureForge - http://www.sourceforge.net/project/dotnetrdf CodePlex - http://dotnetrdf.codeplex.com BitBucket - http://bitbucket.org/dotnetrdf/dotnetrdf/downloads NuGet - http://nuget.org/packages/dotNetRDF/ This is primarily a maintenance release, it resolves a variety of bugs including various SPARQL bugs, some parser bugs and adds a workaround for HTTP servers which don't perform HTTP authentication nicely. It is intended to be a final release candidate before a stable 1.0.0 release in the next couple of months. We would appreciate it if people in the community could test this build as much as possible and report any issues they encounter. As always thanks to everyone in the community who reported issues or made suggestions for improvements. Also many thanks to our developers for their continued hard work. Rob Vesse |
