If your license were LGPL, your project may gain many
more users. The GPL hinders organisations from using
it as then all related code must also become GPL. If
LGPL were applied, then 'metro' and any improvements
to it are protected as 'LGPL open and free', but an
organisation's application (which uses the metro library)
can be licensed (GPL, LGPL, apache or otherwise) at
the discression of that organisation.
