I'm running 1.4.0.8 and was trying to get all the DOSEMU startup messages to go away (i.e., I want to see only output from the DOS program, and nothing from DOSEMU itself). I had though that -quiet would do this

"-quiet do not print startup comment and do not stop for prompting"

but apparently the content I'm trying to suppress is not part of the "startup comment"

For example, I would like to suppress all of this output at startup

DOSEMU 1.4.0.8 (2013-01-07), configured: 2014-11-18 23:36:18 -0600
