#224 BUS ERROR running 1.4 on Puppy Linux

I managed to get DOSEMU 1.2 to run on Puppy Linux. However, whenever I try to run 1.4 on Puppy I get a "Bus Error" and DOSEMU won't start.

I've tried compiling it and running the binaries, but I always get a Bus Error. How can I solve it?

Is this still the problem?
1.2 is too old.
