#220 Direct access to io address 0x1300 (parallel dongle)

i'm running slackware 11.0 + dosemu 1.4.0 + MSDOS 6.22

My motherboard not have parallel port, but i have added a pci card:

lspci

.....

.....

I can view the parallel port:

dmesg | grep parport

parport_pc: ITE8875 found (1P)
parport0: PC-style at 0x1300 [PCSPP,TRISTATE,EPP]
parport_pc: ITE 8872 parallel port: io=0x1300
lp0: using parport0 (polling).
parport0: PC-style at 0x1300, irq 18 [PCSPP,TRISTATE,EPP]

This parallel port have a dongle.

Can the DOS application see this port directly (the dongle)?

yes, but you should try to disable the linux's
parport driver and configure the direct port access
in dosemu.
