#214 dBase IV - Printing Problem

I am running a dBase IV application under DOSEMU 1.3.4 on Ubuntu Edgy (Kernel 2.6.17-11-386).

The application works fine except for printing. Any attempt to print causes dBase to hang. Printing works fine from the DOS command prompt.

I remember having a similar problem some years ago (on a previous installation) and converting to Dr_Dos solved it then. I have tried copying command.com and IBM*.com from that old Dr-Dos installation but this time the problem remains.

I do not know how to start trying to find out what is casing it to hang.

Any suggestions about how to cure the problem or how to start finding what is causing it to hang would be appreciated.

What printer port and settings?
