Currently, when playing in windowed mode, the mouse cursor has to be locked to the window to interact with the game. The cursor then needs to be unlocked (CTRL F10) to leave the window.
Could there be a 3rd setting that allows the cursor to enter and leave the window, but will interact with the game as it enters.
Some game utilise a cursor (such as point-and-click adventures), where this would be useful.
you mean like the already existing option autolock ?
Or doesn't that work as you want ?
Yes and no.
Setting autolock=false has side effects:
1. If the sensitivity is less than 100, the cursor moves too slow. This means the cursor can leave the window before the cursor in the game has moved very much.
2. The game cursor does not move with the OS cursor, but only relative to it.
