indeed we don't. This is intentional.
We don't touch the registry of windows. Some people like that dosbox doesn't do that.
While others do like having an entry in the list..
Not really sure if we should change it..

Perhaps, you can introduce in the setup process a checkbox when the user have administrative rights.
This checkbox can be named "Portable install" and be checked by default (same install as a normal user, propose a subdirectoy of the user directory to install in).
If this checkbox is unchecked, propose to install DOSBox in %CommonProgramFiles\DOSBox and add DOSBox in the list of installed programs.
PS: a silent msi setup is needed to install DOSBox with SCCM or Puppet.

Can you make two setup programs ?
Can be the second setup a .msi ?
