I am not seeing any sort of infighting between monsters unless it's hitscan/hitscan or hitscan/other projectile/melee monsters. Was this intentional?

Well, I did notice some Baron/Demon infighting but it didn't happen with Mancubus/Imp or Mancubus/Demon on MAP11..
