We would like to offer a small web based service like: http://tools.deri.org/wsml/validator/ http://tools.deri.org/wsml/rule-reasoner/ that converts from and to rdf (of course putting the appropriate acknowledgments). I assume we address further comments (RFEs/BUGs) directly to the sourceforge tracker system of the dome project? best Holger |

Hi Damyan, thanks for the quick reply. Just one more question, to what do you refer as "WSMO RDF". Do you use the serialization defined in WSMO D16 or some variation? thanks Holger Damyan Ognyanoff wrote: > Hi Holger, >=20 > it has parser and serializer for WSMO RDF that are able to create wsmo > entities (wsmo4j instances) from triples stored in a triplestore and > represent wsmo enities as triples so to store these into a triplestore.= > Also, includes sesame based triplestore implementation (as reference) > The owl rdf/xml import was moved to wsmo4j since it doesn't depend on > ordi (but it uses internally sesame's rio parser to parse rdf files and= > single in-memory rdf store to explore the OWL structure while building > its wsml representation. >=20 > Damyan > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Holger Lausen" <holger.lausen@deri.= org> > To: "Jan Henke" <jan...@de...> > Cc: <dom...@li...> > Sent: Thursday, February 02, 2006 11:58 > Subject: Re: [Dome-news] ORDI >=20 >=20 >> Hi Jan, >> >> good to hear. >> >> What are the features, any difference to previous version? Hi Holger, it has parser and serializer for WSMO RDF that are able to create wsmo entities (wsmo4j instances) from triples stored in a triplestore and represent wsmo enities as triples so to store these into a triplestore. Also, includes sesame based triplestore implementation (as reference) The owl rdf/xml import was moved to wsmo4j since it doesn't depend on ordi (but it uses internally sesame's rio parser to parse rdf files and single in-memory rdf store to explore the OWL structure while building its wsml representation. Apologies for cross-posting. Dear all, the Ontology Management Working Group (OMWG) [1] is happy to announce = the release of version 0.2.0 of the Distributed Ontology Management = Environment (DOME) [2]. Major improvements are - support of namespaces, imports, mediators, WSML variants - attributes and parameters support data types and further properties - display of ontology elements can be toggled - complex mappings can be created DOME is available as - standalone application - Eclipse update - source distribution which is all (together with a user guide) linked from [3]. Example ontologies for testing purposes you can find at [4] and [5]. Comments are highly appreciated. Dear DOME's A new snapshot of the mapping API is now available on the DOME sourcepage. This version is Java 1.4 compliant to feet with the Dip project requirements. *Additions/modifications: ** The export is now possible in three formats (owl/wsml/map), using the exportMethod with the format in parameter. This replace the toString() and wsmlExport() methods which are now deprecated. ** A new package wsmoAdapter creates a link to wsmo4j. A mapping rule may now be created by passing wsmo entities to the adapter which creates the appropriate mapping rule. -- This does not constitute a new realease of the API but a snapshot of its actual state of development -- Francois |

Dear all, currently mappings in DOME can be created by=20 - placing to WSML tree editors besides each other - holding down the ctrl key - dragging & dropping a source object onto a target object The problem with this approach is, that the ctrl key /dnd combination is usually applied for the copying of objects. As I wouldn't like to = interfere with this practice, I wonder whether one of you has an idea, how this = task could be allowed to the user in some different way. Do you have any proposals? Thanks a lot and best regards Jan -------------------------------------- Digital Enterprise Research Institute Leopold Franzens Universit=E4t Technikerstra=DFe 21a 6020 Innsbruck, =D6sterreich Telefon: +43 512 507 6451 -------------------------------------- |
