I've finally realised that someone implemented a dedicated Dolby B & C Software encoder / decoder over here http://www.anaxwaves.com/DDiCodec/ that seems pretty complete from what i can say.

Even if 20$ CAD is a good bargan, i would had loved to see an open source version of such software that could run on any platform, especially my older pc's with xp or win7.

That could help the fan of us that wants to encode their mixtapes with proper Dolby B Nr on them and visualise in real time how much NR is applied as well as burning it on the tape with the dolby treshold at the right place. I don't know if that would be some rights violation to implement as well some dbx and dbx2 "compatible " encoders / decoders as well as a "dbx Disc" decoder for Vinyl Records.

Have a look at those FB Group, i think that if you make a patreon page, many would put 5$ in the hat to finance the open source project!
