And it does. If the result works to a user's satisfaction without a stylesheet, great. But it's unsupported, and only goes so far. Changes to the code that improve the non-CSS rendering of generated HTML may be accepted, but not at the expense of complicating the HTML that requires CSS. The supported (whatever that means ;-) use of the HTML generated by Docutils is with stylesheets. -- David Goodger |
