I'm not sure exactly what the :sect-ref: role is to accomplish, but if you simply wanted a hyperlink reference, you could say "See `Using __init__()`_". You'd have to drop the inline literals in the reference. If you want those also, you'd need nested inline markup or a roundabout solution using substitutions.
