Does anybody know if there exists a directive for generating Graphviz
(dot) graphs (http://www.graphviz.org/)? Something that will allow me
a -> b;
b -> c;
and have it replaced with a nice graph connecting a -> b -> c.
I found some Epydoc code for it:
but it seems a bit too complicated -- I simply need to pipe the
directive contents to "dot -Tpng" and pipe its output to a suitably
named PNG file.
I have not yet looked closely, but is there a standard way in Docutils
to create derived filenames? Some function that I can ask to give me a
new unique file name, perhaps just a number so that I can save to the
graphs in foo.txt to "foo-graph-%d.png" % n.
