I have a very small request for you.
I am one of the developers of SlapOS (http://www.slapos.org), a "cloud" system (allowing easy provisioning, accounting, billing of any application and other boring stuffs) that uses Buildout (http://buildout.org) to deploy its applications on the cloud.
We use docutils in some of our applications in a frozen way, i.e we specify specific version of all the installed eggs to be sure that we don't get unexpected update of an egg that is not backward compatible and break the whole application. An example is here : http://git.erp5.org/gitweb/slapos.git/blob/HEAD:/stack/lamp/buildout.cfg?js=1#l202, where we define that we want docutils installed in the 0.9 version, and no other.
So far, it works great. But today I saw a failure in the automated build stating that it can't install docutils 0.9.
It is not a problem right now because I upgraded to 0.9.1, but is it possible for you to keep in the future a download link of old versions of docutils in pypi? It would really help us to have working applications.
(you can try by doing sudo easy_install docutils==0.9, it won't find download.)
We will soon adapt a "pypi cache" for our need that will allow not to depend on those kind of things, but in the meantime it is quite time consuming when it happens.
Thank you very much, and thanks for developing docutils!
