we want to embed rst2xml.py into a chain of filters:
raw data ->=20
first.py -> first.xslt ->=20
rst2xml.py -> second.xslt -> html
with other words: I would like to use only
the "kernel" of rst, i.e. for me: the very
good and highly sophisticated
transformation of rich text into xml. My
goal is to perform then some
content indexing, which will also=20
affect the serialization step.

serialize rst-xml into html
on basis of xslt yet?

with "yes" :-) I would like to

Auto-generating reStructuredText isn't really easy; it's more meant to
be a human-writable format.

Docutils is already highly modularized, so I'm not sure what exactly you
mean. Could you be more specific, please?
