MoinMoin includes an in-browser editor for the (awful) MoinMoin Wiki
syntax. AFAICS they employ
and configure it to support this syntax. In the MoinMoin sources check
for an example. MoinMoin allows for reStructuredText syntax.
It would be great if such an editor exists and could be included in
MoinMoin. Actually IMHO the existence of an in-browser editor is the
last big advantage of the (awful - but I think I said this already
;-) ) MoinMoin Wiki syntax over reStructuredText.
Hope this helps

To be fair to MoinMoin, you're comparing apples and oranges. ;-) The
MoinMoin syntax was designed for wiki usage, while reST is meant to be a
documentation format; and of course both of them do a better job in
their respective fields.
