I've just installed docutils (on SUSE 9.3, with python 2.4), and when I
run rst2odt.py, I get this error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/rst2odt.py", line 18, in ?
from docutils.core import publish_cmdline_to_binary, default_description
ImportError: cannot import name publish_cmdline_to_binary
Indeed, if I run python from the command line and try the "from
docutils.core import ..." line, I get the same error. I can, however,
do "import docutils.core" without error.
I've run all the docutils tests (tests/alltests.py), and everything
passes. Am I missing another module somewhere? A path set wrong, maybe?
I'm not subscribed to the list, so please CC me directly with any
suggestions. Much appreciated.

Which version of Docutils do you have installed? (Run e.g.
"rst2html.py --version".) It looks like you installed Docutils using
your distro's package manager, which is probably out of date.
Try installing Docutils from SVN or a snapshot instead.
