docutils.writers.manpage creates an empty comment line with a trailing
space character, which can be problematic if the generated manpages
are to be checked into a version control system. Please apply the
patch that I have included below, which appears to fix this issue.
Translator.depart_document() calls self.comment() with a newline at
the end of the string, which causes self.comment() to add an empty
comment line containing a single space at the end of the line (period,
backslash, double-quote, space, newline).
