David -- I tried to submit a patch to sourceforge, but I think it
didn't work as I kept getting an error message from some script
("Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in
common/tracker/ArtifactFile.class on line 106").

Tony -- I don't think you should accept the patches into pydps for
your releases.  They're really meant as a starting point for a
discussion on the required APIs, not as a model the actual
implementation.  You'll probably see that quickly...
