Definitely in the general interest!

As David says, going through Sourceforge is probably best, if you can.

I'm very likely to be willing to accept the change to pydps - but I'm
hoping to try to get it into CVS some time soon (my excuses for not
doing reST work recently are not as good as David's, though).

David - what's the best way of actually getting Ueli's patch integrated
into pydps? I'm assuming they're fairly trivial, so maybe just copying
them on my part, for the moment...
