[DOC++] Why do I get ".html" files sometimes?

I'm using "DOC++  Version 3.2 PL2.6.  Some of my modules end up with  
an "index.html" file, and some end up instead with ".html" (i..e  
nothing in front of the ".") in the filename.  We're all stumped  
why.  Has anybody seen this before?  Does anybody know what causes it?
